Today's departure was much less eventful than the last.  We untied the lines and just drifted off the dock.  The trip to Titusville, however, gave us some thrills and chills.  We had to pass through some of the shallowest water yet causing us to bump the bottom once and actually go aground twice.  Kelsey had the honors first with the bump and then he went aground and then I managed to get the nerve up to get behind the wheel again only to go aground AGAIN!!!  I've decided that I don't do shallow anymore.  If the depth goes below 6 feet, I'm outta here!  Fortunately, we were able to back off into deeper water each time.  Not so for Paloma.  In our daily check-in call, Gerry (Hunter) revealed that they had to be towed off - ouch!  So now Gerry is Admiral Sandbar too.  But since I have 4 groundings under my belt, I have a sand dollar cluster.  On our approach to Titusville we passed through one of the narrowest and most beautiful cuts we've seen.  It ended going through the Titusville Draw Bridge, tended by one of the most talkative and friendly bridge tenders we've encountered.  The highlight of our stay in Titusville came the next morning when Kelsey spied a manatee floating under the stern of our boat in our slip!  It must have been a baby, because it was fairly small.  Maybe he thought White Wave was his mommy, he just hung around munching on things and coming up for air before he finally went to the next slip.  Incredible!

Next stop will be an anchorage somewhere below Melborne.
