We went to Pulpit Harbor on Wednesday night. It was quite nice but not as nice as Seal Bay (where Kelsey got stuck in the mud scavenging for mussels), So we returned to Seal Bay Thursday night to rejoin Syringa and Sea Dog and Sonadora. Supposed to be able to see the Perseid meteor shower this night but, alas, another bust. After arising at 4 am, Gerry (aka The Popsicle) got back in bed about 4:30, complaining that he only saw a few meteors.
As I write this, we are in a slip in Rockland (Landings Marina). This is truly one of those days you hate on a boat -- inside and outside cleaning, laundry, fueling, watering, provisioning, etc. Meeting some old friends for lunch tomorrow and hopefully we will relax on the anchor tomorrow night. Heading out early Sunday for the trip south and home. Planning to follow the Southern Fleet for at least a couple of days then we probably need to boogie. Not sure when I will be able to write again. Possibly not until we are in Westport, MA a week from today.
