How do you turn down an opportunity to see a cruise ship be cut in half and put back to together? Especially when you get to go to Holland to see this amazing feat of engineering.

We're on the first bus to the Amsterdam airport. That is good, cause I need to find the Neuhaus chocolate. It's in the airport store! I get a cart. This is  looking good. 5 boxes of Neuhaus, some very large chocolate bars, a few round tins, and just a couple decorative containers of chocolate, and I'm on my way to the check-out.

"Caught YA". Wayne Williams, who is the special events co-ordinator for Royal Caribbean comes around the corner and spots my cart. I'm shopping for the neighborhood I tell him. He just gives me a disbelieving stare and shakes his head. He's a cheese guy. I'm sure after I left, he grabbed a cart and filled it to the top with his cheese.

The security is tight in Amsterdam. You actually go thru two security checks. And once you are in the first area, you cannot go back. You have to proceed to the second check area. This is where I, angelic looking me, got the full body search. Oh, well, at least I know this plane is going to be safe.

The flight, like all over the water flights is LONG. Two good books, some good food, and welcome back to Philadelphia. Thru customs, then check into the Renaissance Hotel at the airport. We've got our early morning flight out tomorrow  to Phoenix. We're going on VACATION.
