We've got some time to kill before our flight, so it's into Old Paso for a walk around the old part of town and the Plaza. Soak in the atmosphere and take some photos before heading over to the airport. Gotta get a photo of the world's largest statue. The Equestrine is right at the airport. Even has a parking lot.

We check in early, which is a good idea. The line is down the stairs and out the hallway. It didn't look like anything like this when we arrrived last week. After clearing security, we have some time to kill and decide to grab a "lunch to go." We have a double connection and not enough time to switch planes and eat in Albuquerque or Midway.

I also forgot to bring a book for the flight, so have to find something to read, or I will drive the surrounding passengers and the flight crew crazy. Not much to choose from -but even War and Peace would have been good. We have a "C" boading pass for the first flight. With a packed flight I am sitting in between two large people and trying to recapture my space.  It's a longer flight back than it was coming out. But with the Canyon memories replaying in my mind, we arrive in Philadelphia happy and safe.
