I had heard that Bundi was a nice place to hang out for a few days and while we did spend a few days there, there wasn't really that much to keep us entertained. We filled the first couple of days with checking out the town and the Palace. The Palace sits on top of a hill overlooking the town which is a pretty sea of blue buildings.
The Palace was great - many of the paintings and decorations in the buildings still remain and you can see how full on they once would have been. BUT watch out for the aggressive monkeys - some of those Tripitaka Monkey Head RingsTM would have been handy but we had to settle for a big monkey stick.
The next couple of days we spent most of our time speculating on whether Andrew's toes had become septic and would have to be amputated until finally we thought that a trip to the doctor was in order
We could have used some Bundy in Bundi - not to drink - just to disinfect Andrew's toes with....

. At the Doctor's surgery we were slightly worried when we saw multiple people being injected with the same needle but apart from that we felt reassured that we were finally going to get a specialist's opinion. In the examination room the Dr (along with the 4 other patients also in the room) examined Andrew's feet with a storm torch. There was a lot of head nodding and Hindu being spoken. The stethoscope was brought out and held to Andrew's chest about 6 times for about a millisecond each time, foot fungus was declared in English, a prescription was written, money was exchanged and 3 minutes later we were on our way.
