It's amazing how much a difference 50km south and the coast makes. Livorno is directly on the coast and there wasn’t a drop of snow anywhere. We slept very comfortably that night at a campsite where our spot overlooked the Mediterranean perfectly. We went to sleep with the ocean in our ears. The next morning we drove into the city but Livorno seems to be a very industrial place so we didn’t stay very long. We made our way into Pisa where we found a call shop to contact our family. It’s been very difficult finding internet in Italy so far. We have been to 4 campsites with their internet not currently working and the internet cards are extremely expensive. After that we ate a delicious meal of Cannelloni and Calzones at a little fast food place before heading towards the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Even though I had seen it before I didn’t really remember anything about it so it still surprised me that it is kind of small. One of the floors was under construction ruining the affect a little but it’s still amazing how much its leaning. There is a 5meter overhang. It was a really ugly gray day out but not too cold so we walked around the Duomo and the Baptistery but everything was a little too expensive to go inside. We took the must do holding up and pushing down of the tower pictures before heading back to the car and making our way to Florence.
