Hello again everyone!

Its time for a little update! Its been hard to find time to write inbetween all the sightseeing, napping aand meals of cheese and baguettes! I gotta say me and Chris have been sleeping a helluva lot but what else is there to do after a long day of walking then to take a nice nap before a delicious supper and dessert! We are definatly getting used to the way things work around here. Supper has been earliest 830pm and always involves a nice cheese platter! I am even trying a sip of wine each night. Maybe by the end of this trip I'll be able to have a whole glass!

Yesterday we went for a walking tour of Sacre Couer and the surrounding bohemiene town! What a beautiful building. We walked up the 10000000 steps to the top (with a few small rest periods). Unfortunatly we couldnt take pictures inside but it was gorgeous. All the churches in France have great art and architecture. I dont know much about it all but I find it pretty! Chris took all the pictures of the building from the outside. It was a great day and the sun was shining making for sum beautiful pictures. The streets are fun to walk around in the area because its the fabric district and there were fun tourist shops all over. We walked through Place du Tertre which is an area for artists to paint for the tourists and sell their work. We even walked past Van Goghs old apartment. Not a very spectacular looking place but pretty cool none the less! We walked to the Moulin Rouge and got lunch. The Moulin rouge is in the red light district so there were many many many sex shops and strip clubs! It felt like home on St Cath!! Haha! After all that walking it was time to catch a metro and go home for what else...a nap! What a great way to end the day!

Today Chris got his manual driving skills on and we drive down to Giverny in Normandy! It was about an hours drive through the countryside! I do love seeing cows! We decided to visit Claude Monets famous gardens! If you dont know him, he is a pretty well known artist who painted beautiful landscapes of his huge gardens and the countryside! The first nice thing of the day was that parking was free!! The gardens were beyond amazing. So many types of flowers and plants. It was another sunny day so I took charge of the camera and had fun taking pictures of as many flowers as possible. Another wonderful day and a great start to our bigger adventures!

Tomorrow we are leaving on a 5 day trip to the beaches of Normandy and to Mont Saint Michel. Many more pictures and stories to tell to come! I can only hope that the trip continues to go as well as it started!

Wish you were all here to enjoy the experience with us!
