Denmark, "The Happiest Country on Earth"

After the long days travel (roughly 11 hours), we arrived in Copenhagen and made it to the hostel. We were both very refreshed after a comfortable days travel (Europe has their their trains sorted!) and reached the hostel in a positive mood. Through-out the day, my (Kt) eye had been randomly swelling slightly under the left eye. On the second morning however, I awoke looking like what can only be described as 'Sloth' out of The Goonies. Not impressed. My eye was (is) quite massive. We figured after finding around 5 other bites around my body, each rather swollen and large, that I had been attacked sometime. We then pieced together the possibilities and following Ashley recalling waking up with a cat on his legs in Amsterdam, it must have been fleas. Anyway, later on that day we enjoyed a brilliant day in Copenhagen. We have seen some magnificent sights here including The Royal Palace, the many Churches with amazing steeples and views, as seen in pictures. Taking a boat trip also made us aware of other attractions to see including a Church that allowed patrons to climb the spiral tower until the stair dwindled to nothing (on the OUTSIDE of the tower may we add) and to the bakery that is voted ‘Best Shop In Copenhagen’. We took it easy on the second day (today & 08-10) taking in a few sights and updating our blog. Here we are now drinking cheep wine (20 Kr, which is like a hobo bottle here) whilst looking forward to our early start again tomorrow of 4.45am. This was due to the Danish holiday and all of the sociable trains being fully booked.
