I have been looking forward to today. Every time i have spoken to someone about Disney they have always said that it was there favorite park. I'm sorry to say i disagree. I started out with a stomach ache that just wouldn't budge. i took some pain killer but still i was feeling rubbish, this didn't put me in the mood to be walking around and standing in queues all day.
When we first got there we took a wondered around Canada, united kingdom,France, morocco and then we stooped in Japan to get some food. This made me feel alot better and got me back in the mood to enjoy my surroundings. So we ventured on through The American adventure, Italy, Germany and china where a man shocked me with a fake tarantula on a stick. I jumped out of my skin he got me real bad. We then passed through Norway, where we went on the Maelstrom viking boat voyage which was erm....interesting...before we finally ended up in Mexico
After traveling round the world in about 2 hours. We decided a trip to mars was in order and signed up for Mission Space. This simulator gave use all missions and we managed to land on Mars safely in our extremely cramped space shuttle. We opted for the green ride as it was less vigorous it must have had a more experienced pilot. Don't know if the Red ride actually made it.
Mars was weird looked alot like earth in fact exactly like the place we had just been, but asking no questions we headed out into the light. Walking around the park once more we decided against Ellen's energy adventure which was 45mins long and headed instead for finding Nemo. We climbed aboard the Clamobile and joined Nemo and friends under the sea in there great adventure. Toward the end of the ride they merged reality with cartoon as we headed into the aquarium. The ride ended just before a tank which we then found out had dolphins in. It was strange watching them from under the sea as you usually sea them from above. After training to be a scuba diver i have a new found appreciation for how easy they glide through the water. In neighbouring tanks we also saw sharks and a sea turtle which i have never seen before so that was amazing. Also across the the way we saw some moving rocks which i believe are more commonly known as manatees, I was excited bout seeing one but could believe they were eating lettuce???.
We saw soaring but it had a 2 hour long queue so decided we might come back, but we never did its a shame though because it sounds like a great ride. I think we may attempt to go back and check that out another day
Next i think was the highlight of Nicky's day. Captain E O it was originally at the park some years ago but was replaced by Honey I shrunk the audience, which Nicky has seen and loved. But after many protests and the dead of the Michael Jackson it was brought back to the park. It was the story of Michael as Captain E O's mission to save the planet by using the gift of magic, dance and light. It was a 3D film with added motions such as moving chairs, air blowers and little thing which ticked your legs from behind he chairs. It was good i liked it the added effects made me laugh and Nicky was fascinated by 3D Michael.
With Nicky having abit of a cold, me not feeling 100% and the weather not up to its usual Florida standard we choose to go back to the hotel on the 6 o clock bus rather than the 9 or 10. We can always go back to check out things we missed. Instead we chilled out for abit before going for $9.99 veil steak which was interesting and then shopping down international drive.
Now we are in bed thinking of going to Aquatica tomorrow if the weather picks up. Which of course we hope it does.
