Show trip route
So today it was off for my first taster of Disney. First up was the kingdom of which they say is magic, Magic kingdom. Although getting there prove more difficult than first imagined. We were told by a women on the bus that it was the number 111(our number for the trip) from stop 29, sounds easy. We caught the i-ride down to stop 29 and waited for abit but no bus appeared. Eventually a shuttle bus drove by and offered to drive us there for the same price as the bus. We accepted as the whole thing was getting alittle confusing. Upon arriving at disney we were told that if we wanted to watch wishes that we would have to book a trip back with him as there were no buses. We agreed an payed the money just to insure we could get back that night.
Magic Kingdom can be reached by eith monorail or boat
Moving into Frontierland we caught a glimpse of Woody as we headed to splash mountain where we were told we would get wet, and they didn't lie! Now we had had our daily shower we thought we would check out thunder mountain to dry our selves off. The nature of this ride ment we could keep or camera's on so we had fun taking weird wind swept pictures and videos.
We we were in the queue to thunder mountain we saw these weird raft like boats carrying people accross to an island inthe middle of the lake. So in in curiousity we decided to check them out which in turn caused us to discover a huge paddle boat also on the lake which we also had to check out. The island was full of hideouts and caves, whereas the boat was a calm sail. I found it difficult to take in the scenry though as a plane was writing U+GOD=:) JESUS LOVES U in the sky.
Back on dry land we wondered off through Fantasyland, brought the most amazing brownie fudge sundae. Then it was off to Micky's house, he a very untidy mouse i might get him to call my Dad for some decorating
Next we were to queue for space mountain, m expectations weren't high for this after i have been on other attempts to achieve the same thing. But i was wrong it was great and scaried the hell out of me. So we went for a slightly more tame option in the people mover, which does exacly what it says move people, slowly, but back to the same place. So now we had to walk. Glad we did though cos we mangaged to catch the end of a show at the castle saw Cinderella, Snow White, Peter Pan and many more.
Then it was the time Nicky had been waiting for but had never known it. It was time to take Nicky on a ride she will never forget. It was time for Its a small world after all, Its a small world after all, Its a small world after all, its a small small world, Lalalalala lalalalala... I think she hates me now.
It was starting to get dark now an wishes was getting closer. We grabed some food and went to find a place to stand. Finding a place right near the castle we chose to sit and wait for the show. I was happy to hear that there would also be a electro parade coming pass us, which helped keep us entertained with bright lights before wishes eventually started.
It was a mind blowing show, way better than i could have imagined. I think i got some good pictures but haven't checked yet.
It was a rush to get back to the shuttle as we had to go either back on the monorail or on the boat. We chose the boat this time as it let more people on at once so the queue was less mental. This was the right choice as we got to see a boat parade and made it back just in time.
It was a magical day thanks Disney!
