...So still on the bus, Next stop Fayetteville NC. We got of again here for a rest stop. Feeling a bit peckish we headed again to get food i ended up with blueberry pop tarts which was just what i needed. There was a bit of a wait here, we were both now dying to get some sleep. I was also feeling itchy as i was currently sitting on the left hand sit of the bus but wanted to sit on the right so i could see the Florida sign. So we stood in the queue to ensure good seats and sure enough we got them. We both sat by the window so we could sleep easier and me now again by myself i attempted to spread out and rest my eyes. The restlessness now severely kicking in, i was begging for the light to come up, as i felt the time would surely past quicker.
Savannah GA came and went quite quickly we chose not to get off the coach in our tired state and soon Brunswick GA came to
After Brunswick i knew i had to stay alert if i wanted to view the welcome to Florida sign. This was proving hard as i had had very little sleep the rest of the journey. It was now light though which was a blessing, and the though of Florida coming up closer and closer got me really excited. We tried to get a video of the Florida sign but it past to quick. Now know i was in the sunshine state i was fascinated staring out of the window not believing i had actually finally managed to get there. At this point i was so exhausted that i traveled the rest of the way to Jacksonville FL with my eyes shut but still wanting to be consciously aware of where i was.
The stop in Jacksonville was agonizing. We were so close but yet so far. We had to wait another hour and also i found out after i dropped my chocolate pudding on the floor that we did indeed need to had a luggage tag on our bag. So at our 2nd to last stop we were escorted to the right place to get this done.
Then again back on the coach but this time it was for the last time, we were to make one more stop at Daytona beach but we did not get off we carried straight through to Orlando FL
After asking we took the 25 then the 8 which I'm sure must have been the long way round. We also realized we could have got a free transfer, but of course this was too late. But we are finally here in a great location, fabulous hotel room in a great hotel (compared to new york every where is) and we have been feed and watered for the respectable price of $8 at the Denny's across the street. It may have been along day but KT is a very happy bunny.
Theme Parks here we come!!
