Day two in Elmira was spent at the office, and after work I drove over to Horseheads.
A little more developed, most of the shopping is hear, and I wander
through some department stores looking for bargains. Dinner was at TGI
Fridays.
Wednesday was a drive to Binghamton, about
an hour away. A bigger city, with more going on, I wished I had more
time to explore, but as the work day ended, and I was tired, I headed
back to home back in Elmira. Stopped to eat at Ponderosa though, a
chain that closed in Canada several years ago. Pretty good and cheap
too.
Thursday was a bit of a rainy day in Elmira, after work I just napped. However for dinner I went out to Los Pancho's restaurant in Dt Elmira and quite enjoyed the mexican food there.
Friday was the drive home, and except for terrible traffic from Hamiton to Toronto it was an uneventful trip.
I didn't get any pictures in Elmira, just one set of the Wind Farms on the highway. It's a picturesque little town though, with a small river running through it. And a very nice quiet place to visit.
