The magnificent duomo is really all the city has to offer besides the alleys and streets full of shoes, bags, accessories, oh, and clothes of course. There is also Leonardo's The Last Supper, but for that you must make a reservation months in advance to visit. I wasn't aware of this, and therefore spent the 7 euros for admission on my much needed new wardrobe.
To be honest after my amazing and exhausting time in Turkey I spent my mornings in Milan sleeping in and then wandering the city in the afternoon. Not staying in the best part of town, as there is only one dorm hostel in the entire city, I wasn't out very late. Before I knew it my two days were up and at 3 am in the morning I was crawling out of bed to catch the bus to the airport. It was going to be a week in Amsterdam with my Danish friend, Anders, before continuing on through Italy.
I couldn't wait to see Anders and visit this great city so many raved about. In the end Milan was a big disappointment, but if you were wondering whether to go there or not, I would say... not!
