Well I have left the east behind and joined the western world. Funny thing is, I have gotten used to living in squalor. You know that feeling when you have to knock out your toothbrush every time cause there are tiny aunts that climb into it. Or when you use blow out the inches of sediment and dust from the inside of a cup before making coffee. (note: I have developed a problem with coffee on this trip. I am currently addicted. I was afraid last summer that this would happen, and it has. There is no stopping it now.) I have arrived safely in England and am now staying with my cousin in Wellingborough. I will be here till Tuesday when I move off to London till the 9th. I can't belive that the semester is over, and what scares me even more is that I have one last semester of University before Life.
I would like to make a note that in the last week I have slept very little, somewhat due to my inability to write essays any day but the day before its due, which is very similar to my studying tactics. Another factor in my sleep deprivation would have to be the end of the year celebrations, and of course there is packing. The gist is that last night I got 1.5 hours of sleep and I have been very out-of-it most of the day.
I am in London right now actually. I spent the last 2 days with my friend Liz P. from home. She has come down for the week with her mother. Funny thing is that I am staying in a hostel and she is at the Savoy. I was briefly in there and felt a little out of place with my big backpack on. The hostel I am in is nice, though it may be in Southbank.
For those of you who are in western Europe here is my contact number +447929316302. Its a London number.
I have re-seen the sights in London, but this time I wasn't running through the town. I went to a few museums today and really enjoyed myself in the Vic Albert.
I am off to Malaga Spain to meet up with Ania, Meg, and Emily from Krakow. I leave at some god awful hour in the morning so I am off to bed soon.
