Today (Anniversary of the Tsunami) Ali came and picked me up at around 1000. We headed out on the motorbike to get some short eats from a eatery across from his old work "megachip" One of his friends came with us. The food was really good. Short eats are like small slices of food. Most was spicy and contained some sort of tuna.
We headed to get my passport so I could get my tickets to fly down to Addu Atoll tomorrow. I got my passport, and we stopped at the hospital to get money from the ATM. Ali showed me around the hospital too.
Then we met up with his brother and went walking around the northern government part of Male. We saw the main government buildings, and sultan's park. In sultan's park I stood where and IED went off a few months ago
We went into the National Museum and saw a bunch of old Monarchical Maldivian artifacts, and a Maldivian flag that was take on Apollo 11 to the moon.
We stopped for a drink because I was getting pretty thirsty. Let me tell you, it's hot here. I had to dress down from a undershirt and button up to just a button up. I was sweating bad with two shirts on.
We had some late lunch with Ali's friends and then checked out the artificial beach a bit. I saw some crabs in the rocks by the ocean, So I threw rocks until I hit one and cut his pincer off. The answer to your question is yes, it made me feel like a big man.
Next we drove around some more and went to the island just west of Male called Villigilli (or something like that)
Anyway, more to come tonight.

KRUGGGGGER! It looks like you are having a good time and the weather looks a lot better than here. It suprised me because there looks to be a lot of traffic. Be sure to get some pictures of spear fishing! Have a good one man, and keep the updates coming!
