Today was our final visit to Dr. Sonenblick's office. Six months, six shots each and $1,200 later, we are fully immunized against a variety of nasty diseases including polio, hepatitis A and B as well as typhoid. We also have a fist full of prescriptions to have filled before we leave (cipro, malarone, albuteral, epi pen). We should be fairly well prepared but we take great comfort (though some resentment) in knowing we can access all of these medicines in Southeast Asia at a fraction of the price!
Oh, we are adding an additional Q and A to our list on an earlier post because people have been asking us:
Q: Besides family and friends, what are the three things will you miss the most while you are away?
Kristy: Nina, wearing heels and regular visits to the salon for the works!
Matt: Cooking at home, fall and the beginning of winter, and of course, the neen (or Nina).
At the end of the trip we'll go back and write a list of the things we actually DID miss the most.

Comments
Matt is not brave
COMMON MATT! SUCK IT UP!
I don't know what's funnier, your scream of anguish, or the fact that the nurse is SO used to this reaction that she is not even batting a eye.
