Hi -- as this is the first entry to my travel blog - I just want to say - what i write about is not a criticism  but a reflection of my personal thoughts written in a humorous why to how I see it.

Finally arrived at in Germany for my Currywurst Trip. Our flight was delayed by half and hour due to a storm in China - so one arrives in the very early hours of the morning to a sleepy Frankfurt Airport - not much is opened - and as we know the Germans are known for their methodical and their near perfect designs that will last for a life time. However the Frankfurt airport is like a maze and when one is jet-lagged trying to read signs in German to find the exit for the city train- one is inclined to get disorientated.
I hate to say it the Frankfurt Main train station is worse - it is designed on  a circular concept  - where if you don't know where you are going  you are certainly are  inclined to go around in circles but if in doubt 'ask' - and once i found the exit - lull and behold their was my hotel = once you understand their method of madness its  very simple and easy to get around  - well i can blame it on being jet lagged once or twice  can't I:)

The Concorde Hotel staff are friendly and helpful to the point of telling me that there is not much to see in Cologne and to go and visit Hamburg well we will see more to towards the time when I get to Berlin re Hamburg.

Now for my next circular tikki tour - yes it the hop on hop off bus tour for a 1 hour sight seeing skyline view of the city ( Im sitting on the top deck) major hot spots.

Frankfurt the bustling financial hub of Germany and some times known as Main-hattan and Berlin is known as the New York of Germany [just a little bit of trivia for you all]
The design of the city incorporates the old with the new.  The new 3D cubed glass designed buildings [ sky scrappers] jut out side by side with the old historical buildings that are designed with a mixture of square and circles - so tomorrow I'm off for another circular experience - a walking tour around the old town area of Frankfurt.
