We suffered sore behinds and sunburnt arms, but it was nice to get out of the city and see some green. We spent a little more than two hours driving out to Ba Vi National Park, where we tested the might of our little motorbike on its "steep" roads. Once at the top, we gladly jumped off the bike and hiked up the mountain. Once at the top, we were nearly enshrouded in a cloud trying to make its way over the mountaintop. Its valiant efforts were all for nought -- it was rebuked by the warm air to the west, and eventually retreated.... From our vantage point we were treated to stunning views of the Red River winding its way through the country. It was a nice afternoon, and nice to get out of the exhaust-choked, grassless city.
