Dads 70th birthday
Janette and Matts Wedding Day.
The forcast is for storms and rain all day, but the sun is shining.
We wake and move slowly into the day. We have ordered a taxi to take us to where the double decker bus will pick us up and take us to the Dean Water for the wedding. Dressed fancy we are the first ones to arrive..(that never happens) Ali Cam and the biys arrive next, it's good to see them we haven;t seen them since the ;last wedding, one week ago, none of us can believe it;s only a week
The double decker bus quickly half fills with dressy people, Canadians on the top, we all look spify.
Off we go as we make our way down the lane tree branchs make their way in through the open windows, luckily missing everyone sitting in window seats.
The Dean water is beautiful, old, english and gardeny.
Shortly after we arrive the bridesmaids also arrive, Becky is stunning in her dress, She certainly does not look 14.
We are seating awaiting the arrival of Janette, Matt looks nervous. Janette arrives she is breathtaking her dress is a beautiful champange colour and fits her perfectly. The flowers and Dresses make the colour all combine wonderfull. It is a feast for the eyes especially when you add the large picture windows showing off the English gardens behind the wedding party.
A quck cerimoney and Janette and Matt are married!!
We all head outside for pictures while the staff transforme the wedding room into a dining room for dinner.
Janette had found Matt a vest with feet on it, which is quite fitting since he is a foot doctor and has just opened his own practice.
Aunty Barbara has had a cake topper made with the groom rubbing the brides feet it's very unquie and I;m sure thye will treasure it for a very long time.
Janette and Matt have had blackpool rock made with their names and wedding date inside, Tyler has this and a dinner roll for supper,
We enjoy the wonderful company of Roger and Jenny for dinner and speeches. Speeches gave us an opportunity to sing happy birthday to Dad.
We had a very lovely evening at the Dean Water, one we will remember forever!
We return to Auntie Margarets, tired and ready for the next adventure...The caileigh.(spelling???)
