Cashel - in the middle of nowhere

We woke up to our view of the Cliffs, and started our day with a quick breakfast and another ferry ride. This time we were headed back to Inis Mor and then (later in the day) would take another ferry to Rossaveal. There aren't direct ferries from Doolin to Rossaveal, so this was our only option. We got to Inis Mor around 11 and then spent 2 hours in an internet cafe updating our blog. This work of art that you are reading takes some time... :) After the internet time, I headed back to our favorite Pier cafe and had lunch and read my book. Oliver decided to go on a 1.5 hour bike ride around the island.
He came and met me at the Pier cafe, ate half of my lunch, and then we both went down to the pier to catch the 4pm ferry. Once we arrived in Rossaveal, we made the decision to ride the 35 kms to Cashel, another little town. We decided that since our day had been really light, and there was nothing in Rossaveal, this would allow us to get a little bit ahead of where we were supposed to be. This proved to be a good decision as the weather was fantastic and we were able to ride on a 'bog' road - no idea what that is, but basically it was extremely scenic and there were virtually no cars. The road was really beautiful and we finally saw sheep! Sheep have now become my favorite animals - they are so fun to watch! We also passed a ton of Lochs -
We finally arrived in Cashel around 9pm, which is rather late to find a B&B if you haven't booked ahead of time, which we haven't for anything. We found one and rode to it - the sweet lady who owned it told us later that she wasn't taking anyone in, but felt sorry for us, so she took us. This place was beautiful and sat on another lake. We met a cute stray cat who she was feeding. Oliver loved her/him and took several pictures - here's one of her/him posing between ducks...
The sweet lady then made us dinner (Oliver begged and told her we were starving) - it was wonderful! We read for a while in the living room - I finished my 4th book of the trip, while Oliver was still reading his 1st... It was a perfect evening!
We got up the next morning and had breakfast - the sweet lady made us pancakes from scratch - we certainly are eating well while in Ireland! We packed up and headed out!
