Well as everyone knows by now we were robbed on the way here! We got the overnight bus from Cancun to San Cristobal and someone thought they needed Roberts bag more than us, so they took it.  Weīre so glad they took it upon themselves to lighten the load for us!  Top and bottom of it is they got the last of our travellers cheques, some cash, the laptop, the PSP and all the movies / games, the camera (we just arnīt meant to have a camera on this trip!) Roberts vaccination cards, all his hair product (I think he is most devastated by this) Roberts phone charger and other bits and bobs.  I suppose, fortunately they didnīt take my bag as this had my passport and the plane tickets in!

We spent a lovely day when we got here trying to report the theft and eventually got a report to send to the insurance company,  this only because Antonio (the hostel manger) came with us to translate and ensure we got seen that day!  It doesnīt sound like theyīre even going to try and investigate it either, they just donīt seem to give a shite!  It just adds to the crap time weīve largely had in Mexico and unfortunately has soured how we feel about the country as a whole.  The only good time we had here was with Brenda & Dwight in Mex City and time time we spent with Denise and John in Cancun.  The rest we could easily forget about!

We have been here 3 days now, we leave tomorrow. We have spent nearly every minute here doing something related to the theft, trying to find receipts or printing copies of travel itineries and invoices, obtain replacement vaccination cards and trying to get an address to get them sent to, arrgg!

Not got anything more to say on this place.
