Got up early and drove to Vail, Colorado - a beautiful little mountain ski-resort town.  Walked around Vail some - stopped to get a pizza at a restaurant in town.

Drove to Denver.  loved the city =)  and as we were walking past an open-air restaurant, a woman exclaimed "Denison!  Are you from Ohio?" 

"No," I replied.  "I'm from Illinois.  I just go to school in Ohio." 

Turns out, this woman was from Ohio, so it was surprising to see someone who goes to Denison way out in Colorado. XD

Before that, we were in a nice park in Denver...quite a bit of graffiti, though.  And there were these 3 boys who were wrapping each other up in duct tape, who followed us about halfway through the park, then whistled at us and left.

Eventually found a motel near the Colorado-Kansas border and stayed there for the night...the place freaked Christy out. =D  Granted, it's not all that difficult to freak her out. ;)  But it's funny anyway.  She kept saying it looked like some place where someone would get murdered.  It wasn't that bad. =P  We watched "Monk" before settling down to bed.
