Another year and another trip to Italy to travel with my parents...we spent a few days in Cortona and then travelled by train to Milan for a few more days.

I met up with my parents in Cortona which is in the Tuscan region of Italy. They were just finishing up with their tour group, so I joined them for dinner and a cheese making seminar. It was so interesting to see how quickly the cheese could be made and I got to taste lots of delicious cheese over lunch. For the remainder of the time we had a relaxing few days in the apartment that they had rented, lots of good food and wine, and shopping trips up and down Via Nazionale.
 
On Sunday we took the train from Cortona to Milan. In Milan we continued to have good food and wine...we even managed to find a restaurant that was recommended to my parents by the owner of an Italian restaurant in Edmonton. On Monday we had planned to shop, but lots of the stores were closed Monday morning. We walked around Corso Buenos Aires and then went to see the Duomo and the original Galleria with all of the designer shops.

The time went by quickly and before I knew it, it was time to travel back to Norway.
