This weekend Kevin turned the big 3-0 and we decided to celebrate in Amsterdam. For the celebrations we were joined by lots of friends and family...Kevin's brothers and cousins and friends from Norway and London.
Since Amsterdam is relatively easy to travel to, we decided to forgo some sightseeing in exchange for extra time at the bar. It was Kevin's birthday after all so he got to decide the weekend plans.
Between dodging buses and bicycles, we managed to cover lots of Amsterdam on foot - we saw Dam Square, Westerkerk, Royal Palace, Red Light District, and many canals. And, we also were able to fit in a visit to the Heineken Experience and a canal tour. Guess the museums are left for our next visit...
Surprisingly, we also saw lots of the Irish Pubs in Amsterdam. Sometimes I feel like I am on an Irish Pub Tour of the World.

I am off to the Hague for a course and Kevin is heading to Munich for Oktoberfest...
