Today I did one of the most popular hikes in Norway - Pulpit Rock or Preikestolen in Norwegian. The hike follows a well marked trail to a flat rock that is 25 m x 25 m on top and has an amazing view down to the fjord. The weather was amazing today, so that made for some great views.
The hike is not thar far but you do need to take a ferry from Stavanger to get there. I finally got to take the ferry that drives past my apartment every day!
We left fairly early in the morning for the hike, so there was only one other person who was on the trail in front of us. As a result, I was able to get pictures of the rock with almost no one on it.
It was a great way to celebrate my birthday!
