We left Guanajuato, and headed North- San Luis Potosi, for 1 night, and then back to
Ciudad Victoria for 1 night. Yesterday we headed for the US border-we crossed over, and drove 300 miles more to San Antonio, TX. Yesterday was a very long driving day- we started driving and saw lots of Mexican Army. We had a Mexican military checkpoint, and then we arrived at the border. We got pulled over at US customs and inspected. They opened all our cupboards, and checked us out. Everything was ok, and then we decided to drive to San Antonio to regroup. Today we were cleaning, and sorting things out. Our Mexican adventure has come to an end. We loved it! We met alot of nice people, and had - THE best trip we have ever had!! We really liked Oaxaca, Merida, San Miguel de Allende, and Guanajuato. We loved the vibrant and active communities where handicrafts were made- we enjoyed shopping, museums, churchs, ruins, and we learned a lot of Mexican history.
We would like to learn more of the language someday.
