Took the night train from Bergen to Oslo. No beds left so I sprawled out over two seats. Glad I bought that sleep sack! Slept pretty well and woke up at 6:30 to grab the train to Goteborg. I have friends in this city so I feel bad just passing through. Scandinavia is incredibly expensive though. And they charge you a la carte for everything they could possibly put a price on. I think in Oslo it was $9 to take a tram one way. It was $12 for a beer!! They're also not on the euro so I have coins from Denmark, Sweden, and Norway that are hard to tell apart. I will really miss the scenic sea side views in Scandinavia but I have to say it'll be kinda nice to save a couple bucks.
Arrived in Copenhagen mid-afternoon and made a reservation for a ticket to Berlin first thing tomorrow. Checked back in to the lovely Generator hostel and took a long walk down Nyhavn and by the water. Next I walked to a large park shaped like a star. Every bush was perfect. Lots of sculptures. Aah...Scandinavia.
Stopped, ate and bought some laundry soap. Going back to the hostel to do laundry. We'll see how this goes.
