Show trip route
Afterwards, I met DH for lunch at the Canyon Ranch Cafe. We split a Bison Burger, which was small, and just the right amount for a light lunch. I then went down to the fitness center to see about classes. Unfortunately, they didn't have any I was interested in right then, so I walked on the treadmill for a little over an hour.
Got ready for dinner, and then we walked to the Wynn. I had not been there before and thought it was quite pretty. It was different inside than I had expected. We walked around a little, then had a drink at Parasol, the little bar in between SW and another restaurant. It looks out at the famous waterfall. While we were sitting there we saw Clyde Drexler come down the escalator and go into the other restaurant.
Then Mr. X (from Japan) and Mr. T (Japanese liaison) arrived, and we had a nice dinner at the SW steakhouse. The atmosphere was great, although it was a little noisy. I'd say the food was average. I really liked the Kobe Beef Carpaccio appetizer that we all shared; it was delicious. I also liked my starter, which was Cedar Roasted Oysters. DH and I both had Filets that were so so (good cut of meat, but not much flavor). We had fun with our friends though. We all walked back to the Venetian.
Our friends were off for some gambling, and we had to get to the Bellagio for our show. We had gotten tickets for "O" a long time ago. We were in second row seats, which are also called "wet seats." Although, we only got misted a little. Others were not so lucky, lol. The show was fantastic; the best Cirque du Soleil show we've seen yet. I highly recommend it. We had taken a taxi over to the hotel, but decided to walk back. It was probably 1:00 am by the time we got back. Zzzzzzz
