We got to Heathrow's T5 and went to the Lounge. We asked the desk attendant to check on my still-missing suitcase. We were hoping that it would catch up to me by the time we got to Los Angeles. They never were able to track it down though.

We had some wine and a few more snacks in the gargantuan lounge. Grabbed some great magazines from the vast array available. Then we went to the gate when it was time.

Just like last time, there were several British Airways employees just standing around, seemingly unaware of what they should be doing. We waited and waited, and eventually took off late.

 . We were in seats that were supposed to be better than the economy seats, but to be honest, they were uncomfortable. There was more leg room, but the footrest did not go high enough, and it just did not fit me right at all--I'm quite petite, and it was an ergonomic nightmare for me.

We finally got in to L.A. and it took awhile to get DH's bag, and unfortunately, mine never showed up. Grrrrrr!

[Got my suitcase about 3 wks after we left on the trip. British Airways paid for the clothes we had to buy while in Italy.]
