Today we got up at 4:30 am so we could drive to Dodge Ridge to do some skiing. We went with my brother, and my sister's family.

I had a ski lesson at 11:30...this was my first time skiing. Dodge Ridge is a very small ski resort. I wasn't terribly impressed by the lesson. I had to use a rope tow to get up the bunny hill, which was horrible. My gloves had no traction, and the rope tended to slip right through my hands. We also did a lot of side stepping up the hill, which was exhausting. But at least I skiied. Right?

Got back home (parents' house), and everyone came over for some games and visiting.
