I was thinking my roommate comes back today, but it's tomorrow. That's kind of a bummer. I'm not sure what I'll do today. I could shop, but I don't know how much money I'll need until I go home. Touring some place is no fun by myself. Being in the dorm room sucks, especially without wifi, and I think I've used up almost all my data time on the phone. I did my laundry. I do need a shower. Yeah, I'll take a shower. But what about the rest of the day. What to do, what to do?
I read one of the brochures from one of the places we went, then took a nap. I've already read the entire book about the Terracotta Warriors
I'm now in chat conference with Ada's cousin, Lara, who is asking me if I like "Old Beijing snack." Except, I don't know what that is. OK, apparently it consists of lots of desserts (sounds good so far, right?), but then it also includes stuff made with intestines (not so good). We'll see what transpires.
I decided to go to the department store across from Joy City for dinner. They have quite a few restaurants in the basement. I decided on a Korean restaurant. I had sliced pork with kimchi and rice. It was so good.
After I ate, I went across to Joy City and went to their basement floors, 'cause I hadn't seen them yet. There were some fun floors down there. I did a little bit of shopping. Oops. One thing I got was some toner for my face at a, hmm, pharmacy-type store without the pharmacy. The workers kept calling more and more workers over to help me find what I wanted. It was hilarious. I ended up finding what I wanted myself. They were certainly trying to be helpful though.
After I finished browsing all the stores, I made my stop at iTea and headed home. I got back at 9 p.m. I didn't realize it was so late. I also bought some nail polish--sparkly pink. Time for a mani/pedi.
