Today I woke up and felt like total shit. My head felt like it was going to explode, my ears were all plugged up, and my throat was raw. Not good. Not good at all.

I got through my class and ate lunch. At that point, I was done for the day. I got in my pajamas and went to bed. I propped my head up with the two weird pillows (filled with shells or hulls or something), plus my travel pillow. I also did some reading.

I never did go to dinner. I had no appetite. The fact that I felt awful contributed to growing apathy towards the cafeteria food. I just couldn't do it. I made myself some hot tea and ate one of my gluten-free snack bars and a banana-sugary treat from one of my Brazilian students. I read some more and went to bed early, propped up on my pillows. It did seem to help that crap drain from my head and not into my ears.
