DH, DD & I got to spend some time amongst the treasures of the Art Institute of Chicago back in 1997. It really is a wonderful museum. I enjoyed seeing Grant Wood's masterpiece, "American Gothic." We also took in a special exhibit, "Renoir's Portraits: Impressions of an Age," which was also amazing to see. It is a museum not to be missed when in the Chicago area!
