Grote Markt, or La Grand Place, in Brussels is a cool place. It's made up of guild houses that are very ornate and a sight to see.
It's a fun gathering place. There are several cafes in the square, and we had fun taking a break and drinking some beer (I had raspberry flavored beer, yum!) and talking with our friends while watching the goings-on in the Place. We also got to see a parade of some sort go by, and that was fun too.
On the day we left, we had a wonderful lunch at one of the cafes inside. The food was delicious!
