Well, I'm afraid I can't write a whole lot about Reno, The Biggest Little City in the World. I've flown into the Reno airport when I had to go to another part of the Sierra Nevada's for work.

As far as spending time there, I went there a few times to visit my grandmother when she lived there when I was a kid. I do remember driving by the casinos all lit up; I always liked the bright lights.

Other than that, the author suggests it as a more low-key Las Vegas. You'll have to judge for yourself.
