"A Magnificent Pile of Medieval Origin"
Built in the 12th Century, Leeds Castle, or the "Ladies Castle" as it is sometimes called, looks like something from a fairytale with knights and fair maidens. The day we visited, it was quite chilly, and it makes one think how cold it must have been living there. Gives one a shiver, actually. Although, I guess they had all those layers to keep them warm, lol.
It has a pretty moat, and beautiful gardens. And don't forget the quirky Dog Collar Museum!
