DH and I stayed at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa because he had a conference to attend there. The hotel is known as the "Jewel of the Desert" and was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright (or he at least participated in the design).

According to the book, Harpo Marx and his wife, as well as Ronald and Nancy Reagan honeymooned there. Marilyn Monroe was a guest, among many other famous people over the years; it was opened in 1929.

We enjoyed our stay there, but I admit, it's not my style. I don't go for the dry desert-y look, not even in the desert. There are hotels in the area that are lush and green, so I'd rather go there. But it was fun staying at this historic hotel.
