Today DH went back home. :( He took the train into the airport. It was sad to see him go.

The kids and I went to the Monoprix at around 2 pm to do our usual.

We finally went out to go to the Galeries Lafayette, a big department store that we had never been to. The kids wanted to shop for toys, so I thought they might have something there. We looked around, and went upstairs near the top floor to the toy section. It was so hot and stuffy up there. The kids looked and looked. They couldn't seem to make up their minds about anything, and I was about ready to pass out from the heat, so we went to the Food Hall. It was great, such beautiful food items. The only thing we bought, though, at the Galeries was some bottled water.

On Rue Saint Lazare, we found a place called, Disc King, that sells cheap CDs and DVDs. I bought two CDs of French Chansons for 3.80 Eur each, and a French family movie DVD, Le Papillon (to help us with our French), for 2.99 Eur. Woot for bargains!

We pretty much called it a day after that, and relaxed at home, plus it was raining. For dinner we had duck and courgettes.
