It's that time again to gather up my black and beige and pull the suitcases out of storage. The time has passed all too quickly except of course for the past three weeks. Remember, it was the slalom course on the lake or table dancing. Bob and June it was not a
Preparation X slip and fall. I'm over the jokes and my ribs are healing, albeit way too slowly. I am still having trouble breathing or laughing and I don't even think about coughing or sneezing. Some mornings I feel like I have been diving with Lloyd Bridges and have resurfaced from the ocean depths much too fast. Thank you Jane and Karen for the check up and assistive devices. Bill and John are still checking in and shaking their heads. Eunice, I will be looking into blingy designs for the rib belt.

While flat on my back I have read way too many books and watched way too many movies. I've been considering doing movie reviews but think I will stick to food.

Bears are on the prowl in Alaska where they have dubbed some of the unsuspecting bikers "meals on wheels." I was already looking forward to this assignment but after a surprise call from an old friend from Michigan telling me she would be my partner it made my day Spring

. Bob has lined up his dear friend who is a world class massuese to ease me back into shape. I'm hoping to be able to play golf again before the end of the summer. If not, I told my GB/TB that we played the most expensive round of golf at Katke in the history of the club.

To my friends in New York. It was too quick but wonderful. The Koon's on the top of the Met was a perfect morning and our dinner was fabulous. I could have been in Paris on the Left Bank. The waiter from Lyon and the box of madelines to go was a treat. I still think the "living room" at W is too young and too much a happening for me. Jeft it was much too short a visit and I missed seeing the kids. I'm only sorry I won't be there with the family in September to tell the Power Ranger shorts story.

One thing about limited activity is that your surroundings shrink and you are forced to catch up with all the small things that are happening in that limited space. Mother Wood Duck successfully hatched 11 of the 16 eggs and once again I missed the ducklings leaping from the box into the lake. I was too engaged with the great company and the spectacular fireworks to get some good pictures from our boat club display but several nights later I snapped a few from other lakes. Hope you enjoy my world as much as I have while I was home. Wish we had had more time to share it!

Thanks for the final boat ride. Please don't forget to to keep in touch I am already missing all of you. For some reason I am having a hard time with this departure. Loved dinner outside on the veranda! See you all soon!
