Well the crossing was lovely a bit windy but not rough we then drove north but the land was so boring after the fantastic views in the south. Started looking for campsites but pretty grotty so kept trucking and ended up having take away fish and chips and then eventually found a lovely wooded campsite-again only 2 other motorhomes. Then went to see the art dec town of napier- some lovely buildings but it turnedout to be a lot of  to get there. we then camped by lake taupo and spent a couple of hours relaxing in the thermal pools. yesterday we drove to Rotoura and visited the Huka falls and Aratita Rapids.Tried to camp in a lovely lakeside camp but it was full so we went wildcamping overlooking two lakes. Kept expecting to be moved on but nobody bothered us.On saturday we 
went to thermal pools which were fascinating but you will have to wait for the photos!!At the next camp which was right next to a beach we met a couple from near Preston and a lady from Bushey -small world The next we walked round the base of a mountain which was right next to the sea-fantastic or as they say here awesome. Sadly tonight is our last motorhome night which is really sad. We are staying in Auckland for 4 days before our week in San francisco. Really looking forward to SF Hopefully wireless connection will be good in the  Auckland hotel  and i wil be able to add the photos

Cant believe San Francisco has come round so quick!! I have got so used to my house :)
Looking forward to seeing some more pictures as soon as possible!

You must be in SF by now if we've calculated correctly. Sounds like NZ was pretty amazing. No doubt there will be loads of pictures! Enjoy San Fransisco. Won't be long before we see you again so looking forward to that. Love Jackie & Lindsay xx

We leave Auckland on Sunday. Have been sailing today which was great. Meeting up with an old school friend on saturday and in San Francisco on Sunday. Home on 23rd and back in habs that Thursday so will be like old times!! looking forward to seeing everyone

Are you on a different continent yet? Tuck into the steaks dudes! Saw an appalling film called 2012 on Saturday when the world comes to an end, so good job you are seeing most of it before then! Seriously looking forward to seeing you again and don't forget to wear a flower in your hair whilst in SF
