I wish I had taken some photos as the food was lovely and looked good. The teacher, Luxi, was really sweet as well and it was her lifelong dream to open this cooking school which she did only a few months ago.
I made a spicy tofu salad, fish flavoured aubergine (no fish, just spices that Yunnan people used to cook fish in, so it reminds them of the flavour of fish apparently) and then Kung Pao Tofu which was amazing if I do say so myself. I think I only put about 4 Sichuan peppercorns in but they are seriously the hottest things ever. Your whole mouth goes numb and then you have pins and needles for about 15 minutes after. Like a food induced stroke.
To take a break from Ableton, Michael went on a wander and ended up playing chess with an old man. Who, of course, kicked his arse.
