Well, we are currently sitting in Heathrow airport, the new Terminal 5 that made all the fuss in the news a couple months back.
Personally, I think it's one giant eyesore. Completely over-pumped consumerism being blasted at you from every concievable direction. I wouldn't be surprised if they turned the windows to the outside world into giant advertisements as soon as the sun goes down.
I really hate long flights. 9 and a half hours from Seattle to get this far. Our next flight leaves in about an hour and it is advertised as taking another 8 hours to get to Delhi. Whose idea was it to fly halfway around the world again?? :-)
Of course there was no free WiFi in terminal 5. A bazillion signals, but you gotta pay for all of them. So I'm only able to write this and check my mail at the cost of $8.50 USD. But it's worth it to let everybody know that we're doing ok, just a little ragged from endurance flying. I will try to send an update from Delhi as soon as I can.

Heathrow
Ah Heathrow. Hub of tourism, proud outpost of capitalism. Scrambler of brains, bringer of every conceivable type of travel pains. No longer providing tired travelers to India with the opportunity to drink the single greatest Mocha ever known to mankind.
(Apologies for the ramble. In a bit of a state. Will keep up with the scribblings, though. Good luck!)

Bon VOYAGE Kirby & Rebeca
I knew you were going but I did not know you were leaving so soon! Have a save trip and be careful. Don't drink from the Ganges!!!
Heathrow
Heathrow is just a big mall with an expensive food court!
Ah, India!! Is it like 'Bollywood'?
Love your blog, Kirby. You are quite a traveler, Rebecca, catching z's when you can. Have a great time, you two. The blog is a great way to keep us informed and know how you are doing. And to experience it through you (envy, envy). Take care and be careful and safe!! Love, Rebecca's mom
