Driving up I-5, getting hungry, sign along side the road: Papa Pete's Pizzar Parlour
Thinking this will be my last meal of delicious American Pizza for 3 weeks, I hope Rebecca might take the bait.
"Pizza!" I shout.
"Mmm, I could go for that!" she says.
I rejoice inside. We take exit 49 (Castle Rock, Washington) and it pretty much dumps right into the parking lot. The lot is packed (usually a good sign). We go inside and it's not so packed (not a good sign). But the place is huge, so maybe it's an optical issusion.
We order our pizza, wait a good long while next to a fake fireplace. Not fake like it's metal logs masking a gas burner underneath, but fake like sitting inside the quaint round, rustic fireplace is a plastic box molded into the shape of some logs, and inside is an orange light. We flipped the switch and basked in the glow of a fake orange light while making origami figures.
The pizza was Delicious! Really quite good, they use that think-cut slightly spicy pepperoni that is so hard to find. Rebecca commented on the cheese-to-sauce ratio being just right, and the crust was tasty. All together a very good dining experience.
We shoulda gotten the medium!

Hmmmm
I think you linked to Castle Rock, Virginia ... unless you guys had to turn the plane around back to Seattle! :-)
Re: Hmmmm
Yeah yeah, I got that fixed once I was able to really sit down and work on it. It's been pretty hectic up to this point. But today I'm in Delhi, have a wireless signal and I'm getting everything caught up.
