Hello everybody from Kirby and Rebecca!
For those of you who are still wondering what this is all about, I apologize, I didn't get a chance to send an individual email to everybody notifying them of our latest travel blog. For those that still don't know, Rebecca and I are finally going to India! In the past couple of years since we've known each other, we've fallen in love with India. Or at least the version of India that we have in our heads (having never been there). So last February, we set out a goal to save up enough money this year to make the trip and see the sights. Things were looking good for a post-christmas departure (as that would work out best with my work) But then we got invited to a wedding in Delhi by one of our friends. As many people have commented: that's an opportunity of the lifetime for some people, so we jumped on the chance and things started quickly falling into place.
In the weeks leading up to our departure, this topic has come up many times and everybody always says "Take lots of pictures! Tell me all about it when you get back!" And we surely will, but 2 years ago when I went to China I tried the travel blog thing, and this TravelPod website is really quite good at covering that particular type of story telling. It worked out really well then, so we are going to do it again for this trip, and that is why you're getting this email (or an email announcing this post in the blog, I don't exactly remember how it works). If you're not really interested, I sincerely apologize, and there is some kind of unsubscribe mechanism in the original email which easy to use. I won't be offended if you remove yourself from the list. (ok, maybe I will, just a little bit :-)
