This an odd country really. Or maybe I'm just getting picky from all that I've seen and done on this trip. The scenery, as I've said a 100 times, is gorgeous. But the food - is terrible. It reminds me of Britian. Bland, boring and did I mention bland? Fish and chips are about as exciting as it seems to get - or a 7-11 sandwich. The worst part is that everything here is a little on the expensive side.

The population of the country is really small - 4 million, vs. 44 million sheep. Think about that one. So the social scene is a little slow.

A fun element - the sun! It rises at 5:20am and doesn't set until 9:30 at night! Seems to throw a person off a little.

Auckland is relatively boring. Although I was warned of that. I seem to have seen the whole city in one afternoon - and there wasn't much to see! I plan on finding my way to the beach tomorrow. Anyway, that's why I titled this rambling...that's all this really is. :)

What do you expect??
Auckland NZ is a really FUN place if you know someone..but the country is known for it's Scenery and it's clean wholesome waterways and beautiful mountains. Not it's Bars and nightlife..That's boring and very unimaginative!
I'm in London now and you talk about a BORING place!!
