I ate lunch at Sorrento's Pizzeria then watched the "How to Train your Dragon" ice show. Like the Madagascar aqua show, it was very cute and entertaining for both kids and adults. I caught the Belly Flop competition that afternoon in the aqua theatre...very entertaining but painful to watch!
That evening my mother and I attended the Crown & Anchor cocktail party in the Amber theater
Smoked duck salad; Wine: Fairview, Chenin Blanc, Darling South Africa
Soup Trio: butternut squash cream, tomato consomme, lobster-corn bisque; Wine: Louis Jadot, Meursault France
Serrano ham wrapped diver scallops; Wine: Devil's Lair Chardonnay, Margaret River Australia
Roasted milk-fed veal tenderloin; Wine: Charles Krug, Merlot, Napa California
Flourless roasted hazelnut-chocolate; Chilled Frangelico, Hazelnut Liquer
It was an amazing meal and we had a great table with interesting people (especially after four glasses of wine!) At the end of the meal, we were each presented with an autographed cookbook and an apron.
After dinner, I caught part of the Headliner show, then went to Quest, an adult scavenger hunt. Very funny!
