Arrived in Melaka, eventually completed our arduous search for a hostel, and began our tour!

With lots of left over relics from the Dutch period there was a lot for me to get excited about! We started at the Stadthuys, which was beautiful, and then visited Christ Church a very impressive Church constructed from bricks brought over to Melaka from Zeeland in 1753, which is equally impressive!

A little walk through the pretty streets including Herren Street, and Jonkers Street, a few museums, temples and mosques. Onto St Paul's Church where Rob made me translate the gravestones of Dutch people who died in the 1500's, which I did not do an especially good job of!

We spent the evening in Capital Satay, where each table is kitted out with your own pot of boiling sauce to boil your 'animal bits' in, including a choice of heart, kidney, intestine and skin. Surprisingly, it was brilliantly delicious!
