We arrived in Geneva yesterday and are staying at a camping ground which is situated right on the lake. Spent the day yesterday doing some running repairs on old Frank, figured it would be cheaper on the Swiss franc than euro or pound. Worked out really well, except language barrier, we thought alot of mechanics would speak English here but most speak French and only very little English, thanks to the Lonely Planet phrasebook we eventually got there.
While Frank was in the shop we got a few hours to walk around the city of Geneva, very beautiful place, did a bit of shopping, Hayden bought himself a nice Swiss Army Knife and I spent a bit of time in my fav shop H&M (basically a huge european Glassons).
Today we caught a bus to town and then took a tram out to the Palais de Nations where the United Nations and other organisations are based, got an hr long guided tour which was awesome, saw the big meeting areas where all negiotations and treaties are drawn up.
Has been quite a miserable day, lots of rain and more predicted for tomorrow, we are on the road again tomorrow. Heading towards Paris for 2 nights and then will catch a ferry back to London, time is going so fast.
Well got to go, thats all for now.
Hope you are all well and healthy
