Drove into Poland early next morning, got stopped at the border and had to wait to the side for our passports to get checked and Cy and Ants van got checked by sniffer dog, they must of thought they looked dodgy as we got left alone.
Had our first experience driving on Polish roads, they are terrible, bumpy and potholes everywhere.  Once we got onto the main dual highway was much better.
Stopped to get groceries from a huge supermarket and fill up on cheap fuel, such a hot afternoon we found a lake just north of Opole, was man made so not that nice, was good to lie in the sun and read a book for a couple of hours though.
Stayed there the night so could leave early and go to Auswhictz concentration camp the next day.
