Hey all,

We have now moved onto Barcelona, was tempted to stay longer in Valencia as the atmosphere around the Americas Cup village was amazing but we are pushed for time to get to Pampalona for the running of the bulls on 5th July.  Also it was probably best to detox for awhile before we got there!!

Was a very long drive to Barcelona as the night before we left was Zekos birthday so we had a few ´quiets´ so didnt leave Valencia until after midday.  Everything was going well along the single carriage way until we hit a traffic jam about 50km out of Barcelona...late Sunday afternoon is not a good time to be on the road, we crawled along for over an hour  and then decided to find a place to park  up for the night.  Found a little marina in Garraf about 25km out of Barcelona.  Next day we found a camping ground where we could base ourselves for a few days and see the sights of Barcelona.

Caught a bus into town today and had a look down the La Rambla which is the busiest street in Barcelona, filled with performers and touristy stuff.  Spent the day shopping, yay finally get to check out some shops, Barcelona is such an awesome city for shopping!!  I must admit I was very restrained.  Found a nice place to have tapas for dinner with Cyrus, Annette and Zeke and Jen.  Back to campsite for a swim at the beach and early night.

Plan is tomorrow to do a jump on and off bus so we can get a full overview of the city.

Well must go, this internet at the camping ground is soooo expensive.
